Wow, what a beautiful display! This homeowner took advantage of the home’s upper balcony to create a nativity scene, then filled both upper and lower floors with trees, lights, and at the bottom, shaped light displays of reindeer etc. And at the top, high up on an aerial, the Christmas star. In fact, the homeowner even had a DIGITAL COUNTDOWN till Christmas, on the upper left! (not visible here) When we stopped here to take shots, there were lots of folks taking pictures.

Ettie, remember how – every winter – during the first snowfall of the year, we used to all pile into a car and drive around Central Park at night, watching the snow fall? This photo – from http://digital-photography-school.com/5-uncommon-snow-photography-tips-that-can-transform-your-winter-scenes – brought it all back for me.
I love this light display – the home owner(s) must’ve had about 300 of those lighted posts in their yard, not to mention all the stand-up pieces and the lights along the building! It’s sort-of like a front yard for Santa’s elves.
I got this shot of Maurice as we were leaving a South First Friday gallery walk. I like the lines of the garage & the cars & the look on his face too! At ISO 3200 my camera handled this pretty well.
